DONATIONS BEING ACCEPTED FOR KERRVILLE AREA FLOOD VICTIMS Triple C Bar & Grill along with Fayette County Sheriff Keith Korenek and K.W. Fricke, director of the Former Texas Rangers Association, would like to share that we are excepting donations to deliver to the people and families effected by the flash floods in the Kerrville area. Starting now, cash donations will be excepted through the month of July at Triple C Bar and Grill, located at 3024 Highway 159 Fayetteville TX 78940. Any amount will be greatly appreciated. Help us in supporting our fellow Texans during this difficult time.

CARMINE VFD TO HOLD FUNDRAISER CARMINE — The Carmine Volunteer Fire Department will hold its annual firemen's fundraiser Sunday, July 20 at Carmine Hall. The fried chicken dinner, drive-thru only will be held from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. or until sold out. Donations accepted as pay- ment for the meal. Eckermann's sausage links available for $10 each. Desserts will be available. Raffle tickets will be sold.

MORAVIA PARISH PICNIC PLANNED MORAVIA — Moravia Ascension Parish Picnic will be held Sunday, July 20 at the church in Moravia. The stew and kettle fried chicken meal will be served at 11 a.m. at $14 per plate. Drive-thru plates to go will be served from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. There will be a country store, cake walk at noon, games, games, auction sale at 1 p.m., and bingo from 1 to 5 p.m. There will be hamburgers, refreshments and entertainment on the picnic grounds. A drawing will be held at 7 p.m. Music will be by Mark Halata & Texavia, and The Fender Bender Band.

ST. MICHAEL PLANS HARVEST FEAST WEIMAR — St. Michael Catholic Church Harvest Feast will be

held Sunday, Aug. 10 at Veteran's Memorial Hall in Weimar. The fried chicken and stew dinner will be $15 per plate. Serving starts at

11 a.m. Pick-up, and picnic drive-thru and go will be available at St.

Michael's Family Center in Weimar. The event will include Mass at 10:30 a.m., auction at 1 p.m., Bingo from 2 to 5 p.m., country store, treasure chest, ring toss, antique and classic car show, famous picnic burgers, snow cones, snack bar, fish pond, train ride, Plinko, ball throw and more. There will be a cornhole tournament at 4:30 p.m.

Free dancing and music from 11:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. with entertainment by Shiner Hobo Band, The Lost Cause Band and Southbound 955. There will be a drawing for sweepstakes prizes.

SENIORS TOGETHER SOCIAL SCHEDULE Seniors Together, a place for senior's, 55 years or older to social - ize with others is held every first and third Wednesday from 10 a.m.

to 1 p.m. at the St. Paul Lutheran Church Lighthouse Fellowship Hall at 201 Veteran's Dr. in Columbus. and at the Weimar Civic Center in Weimar on the second and fourth Wednesdays from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. The events includes card games, board games, Bingo with prizes, coffee and tea, movies, lunch provided, educational speakers, field trips including trips to casinos and social gathering.

STS. PETER & PAUL COUNTRY FESTIVAL FRELSBURG — Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church-Frelsburg will hold its country festival Sunday, Aug. 3 on the church grounds located at 1031 Church Ln., New Ulm, TX 78950. Holy Mass will be held 8:30 and 10:30 a.m. They will be serving a fried fish meal for $15 per plate with dine-in from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Kids 12 and under is $10 per plate. Drive-thru line is from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. The event will include Bingo starting at noon, a live auction at 1 p.m., free dance featuring The Dujka Brothers after the auction.

There will also be kids games, toy raffle, ring toss, cake walk, gift card walk, kids water zone, country store, raffle drawing, silent auc tion and live music by locak musicians outdoors throughout the day.

Hamburgers, nachos and snacks will be available in the afternoon.

TRI-COUNTY FRIENDS OF NRA 2025 EVENT SCHULENBURG — The 21st Annual Tri-County Friends of NRA event will be held Friday, July 25 at the Schulenburg KC Hall in Schulen- burg. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. for games, raffles, live auction and fun had by all! Individual tickets are only $30. Reserved tables are available, call for more information. Local organizations benefiting from grants include youth shooting programs, firearms safety and training, law enforcement and more! BVFD PLANS 53RD ANNUAL CELEBRATION BELLVILLE — The Bellville Volunteer Fire Department its 53rd Annual Celebration to be held Friday, Aug. 15 at 5 p.m. at the Austin County Fairgrounds in Bellville. A barbecue chicken and sausage meal will be served inside from 5 to 7 p.m. and drive-thru from 5 to 6:30 p.m. (drive-thru traffic enter via 529 gate, all other enter via 159 east gate). Meal tickets are $15.

Homemade hamburgers and hot dogs will available as well as beer, soda

water, cake, pie and tea. A raffle drawing will be held at 9 p.m. Advance meal tickets and raffle tickets are available at First National Bank-Bellville,

RANCH RUN DEADLINE APPROACHES SCHULENBURG — Navidad Valley CattleWomen Navidad Valley CattleWomen Ranch Run will be held Saturday, Aug. 2. There is both a 5K and 1-mile fun run. This event is held in conjunction with the Schulenburg Festival and starts at Wolters Park in Schulenburg. Runners and walkers interested in participating can register at https://nvcattlewomenranchrun5k.itsyourrace.com/event. aspx?id=15683. Full details and the map of the course may be found at the run website. This year there is an additional age category and the youth discount is extended for any athlete under 20 years of age. Runners registered by Monday, July 21 will be guaranteed a run shirt is their preferred size, however registrations will be welcomed up until the morning of the run.
