WEIMAR — The Weimar Vets hosted Shiner Clippers on July 20 at Strickland Field in Weimar.
A much needed win resulted in a 10-0 victory in seven innings.
Starter Matt Sandoval pitched five innings allowing no runs, two hits and striking out five.
Kyle Baresch finished the game allowing no runs, no hits and striking out one.
A stellar job by the pitchers. Defensive standouts were Kyle Baresch, Ryan Rerich, Westin Pavlik and Kyle Peschel.
