Vets fall to Serbin

WEIMAR — The Weimar Vets hosted the Serbin Jackrabbits on July 27 at Strickland Field in Weimar.

Two big innings in the seventh and eighth by Serbin and runners left on base let to a 13-4 defeat.

The game was tied 4-4 through six innings.

Offensive leaders were Emerson Harvey-BB/SB/HBF/run scored; Kyle Peschel-base hit, 2 runs scored; Jeff Osburn-2 BB, base hit; Cole Rasburry-RBI, BB; Conner Geisler- base hit, BB; WestonPavlik-base hit, RBI; Carson Peschel-BB, run scored, SB.

Defensive standouts were Carson Peschel, Weston Pavlik, Jeff Osburn, Cole Rasburry, Conner Gelsen, Joseph Frank and as always Kyle Peschel behind the bump Keeping the game tied and limiting Serbin to 4 runs were Cody Condel and Conner Geisler.

Carson Peschel finished the ninth allowing no runs and 3 fly outs.
