Bellville football alum Sanders starts career at Texas A&M

Bellville football alum and 6 feet 3 inches, 315 pound lineman DJ Sanders is ready to start his division one college football career at Texas A&M University in College Station.

Sanders was a huge part in Bellville’s success throughout his career and had a bunch of high quality division one offers for football, but wanted to stay home and be an Aggie.

Sanders led the Brahmas to a state championship appearance in 2023 and earned a bunch of accolades throughout his career at Bellville, such as a 2024 Navy All-American Bowl selection, District 10-4A Defensive MVP as a sophomore, District 12-4A Newcomer of the Year as a freshman, and much more.

He’s also the cousin of former Brahma, Denver Bronco, and Super Bowl champion Emmanuel Sanders.

With the experience, talent, accomplishments, and good genes Sanders has, he’ll likely have continued success at the college level.
