La Grange softball alum Abby Dela Rosa had an outstanding career as a Leopard, especially in the circle, and it was so good that level and signed with St. Mary’s University in San Antonio in 2022.
Mostly starting as a pitcher in high school, Dela Rosa was moved to the outfield in college and is heading into her senior year as a Lady Rattler.
Dela Rosa is known for being a base stealer and went a perfect seven for seven on stolen bases during her sophomore season in 2024.
She also had a batting average of .344, going 11 for 32 and added four walks with two RBI’s.
As it’s not easy to succeed at the college level after doing well in high school, Dela Rosa has been a valuable player for St. Mary’s and will add even more value with her experience going into her senior year.
