CANYON — Numerous Fayette County 4-H members competed in the Texas Cattle Feeders Association Junior Fed Beef Challenge July 25 at West Texas A&M University in Canyon.

The TCFA Junior Fed Beef Challenge is designed to encourage young people to gain practical experience in feeding commercial beef cattle.

Crockett Guenther was awarded High Point Jr Test and Overall High Point Junior. Tatum Fritsch placed third in the Jr. Test.

Gage Smrkovsky was High Point Carcass.

Others participants included Tate Fritsch, Joseph Carrales and Adalyn Carrales.
