LA GRANGE — The August’s “Resources for Successful Living Lunch and Learn” series will be “Universal Home Design-Make Your Home Your ‘Forever Home’” It will be held on Tuesday, Aug. 19, from 12:05 to 12:50 p.m. at the Fayette County Agricultural Building at 255 Svoboda Ln., Room 104 in La Grange.
The guest speakers will be Diane Jones, OTR and Carol Daniels, BSN, RN(Ret). Make your home your “forever” home, whether you are remodeling, making repairs home. Planning and making conscious choices can make your home safe and adaptable to whatever life throws at you, from a growing young family to seniors who want to age in place. Occupational Therapist Diane Jones and retired nurses Kathy Quinlan and Carol Daniels share hints, tips and what to look for in making your home work for you, whatever your age or health and mobility.
