AgriLife agent Laramie Kettler receives national recognition

BILLINGS, Mont. – Laramie Kettler, AgriLife Extension Agent for Colorado County, pulled down the Outstanding AgriLife Extension Man/Woman of the Year award during the National Association of County Agricultural Agents (NACAA) at the NACAA annual meeting July 2 in Billings, Mont.

The award recognizes agents with less than 10 years of service and professional growth and contributions to extension programming.

Kettler has been with Colorado County for six years and runs the extension livestock program, rice farming programs, tree health, pond management, gardening and the new land ownership programs. She is one of six in the nation to be handed this award during the event.
