Schulenburg Fest closes with style

Schulenburg Fest closes with style
The Shorthorn Band proves that dynamite comes in small packages as the band hits all the right notes during the Schulenburg Festival parade on Aug. 3. Music was "instrumental" throughout the festival as it closed with The Czechalolics, Black Cat Choir and TUB.

The Schulenburg Festival parade on Aug. 3 was led by the Grand Marshal Schulenburg Shorthorn Baseball Team. The Shorthorn baseball team clinched the regional baseball title during a dramatic split and eventual win over Danbury. The baseball team exemplifies small-town toughness.

Never short of getting hungry, food was abundant and easy to find when you just follow your nose during the Schulenburg Festival activities.
