Columbus Junior League Softball team takes World Series title
The Columbus Junior League softball team made history in a fairy-tale race to the top and took the World Series title, which is truly a world series in every sense of the word, as the Columbus team took down teams from California, Illinois, Pennsylvania, Asia Pacific and Italy during series play in Kirkland, Wash., on Aug. 2.
