ANDERSON MEMORIAL FUNDRAISER SET
LA GRANGE — As a result of Sgt. Travis Anderson with the La Grange Police Department passing away, a memorial fundraiser in his memory has been started. The fundraiser will be held Saturday, Aug. 16 at the La Grange KC Hall. Start that day with a special Celebration of Life for Sgt. Anderson at 3 p.m. After the Celebration of Life service, at 5 p.m., the fundraiser will open with the start of a silent auction. At 6 p.m., a catered meal of grilled pork steak, buttered potatoes and green beans will be served by the KC Hall. At 7 p.m. a live auction will begin with Lee Fritsch serving as the auctioneer. Tickets are available at the La Grange Police Station, EMS Station, or the Fayette County Sheriff's Office.
