Warm quilts sewn for Guadalupe area friends
The Colorado Valley Quilt Guild partnered with Connie Kortz, center, and her quilt shop 'My Fabric Friends' in Victoria. All around the state, quilters have rallied around this project, providing a warm quilt to the Hill Country/Guadalupe area friends. Twenty-two tops were recently picked up from 'My Fabric Friends,' needing quilting/binding. All the CVQG members got together and pieced and assembled more Poppy Quilts as requested. In September, all the completed quilts will head to the Hill Coun- try.
