Luther Hill structure destroyed by fire under investigation
Fayette County Sheriff Keith Korenek reported on the afternoon of Aug. 16, around 1:58 p.m., the sheriff's office received a 911 call reporting a structure fire on Luther Hill Road near FM 2145. The La Grange Fire Department responded along with Fayette County EMS Medic Unit 1, EMS 3 Supervisor, and deputies James Ulbig and Cody Williams. It was reported a structure was fully engulfed. The Round Top–Warrenton Fire Department also as- sistanced. The fire was contained and extinguished. The State Fire Marshall's office was requested to determine the cause of the fire, which was undetermined at the time of the fire.
