The Round Top-Carmine High School volleyball team has started the season at just below the .500 mark, but there’s no need to panic as this team is known for being not only successful, but dominant.
The Cubettes have been right on the brink of the state tournament in recent years and they’ll likely be in a similar position this year with the kind of athletes and coaching they have.
Head coach Catie Weishuhn also coaches basketball and has had success there as well as vol- leyball, so Weishuhn definitely knows her athletes and how to set them up for success, as well as knowing what to do in key situations and have them prepared for game situations during practice.
Round Top-Carmine will more than likely figure things out and become one of the better teams in the area, per usual, come late October and early November.
