Columbus Chamber of Commerce announces new executive director

COLUMBUS β€” The Columbus Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors announced Shelley Janik as the new executive director, following the retirement of Director Becky Nutt.

Janik has been part of the chamber team since 2018, bringing nearly eight years of experience and a strong dedication to the organization and community. As a resident of Columbus, she and her husband, James Janik, Texas Farm Bureau Insurance Agency manager, are proud parents of Hayley and Zachary Janik.

Chamber members have expressed their excitement for her new role. Arturo Trujillo of B&D Graphics shared, β€œFor the past eight years, I have been working with Shelley Janik. She has been a great addition to the Columbus Chamber of Commerce from day one, always welcoming visitors, residents or vendors with a smile. I am happy to have her as the new executive director, a position she very well deserved.”
