LA GRANGE — The 98th annual Fayette County Fair held its queen’s contest on Aug. 28 and numbers are in for the winners to claim their titles. The fair parade started downtown and kicked off Saturday’s events with headliner Hudson Westbrook drawing a waiting crowd. Activities, music, arts and crafts, amuse- ment rides and other fair activities filled the weekend to the delight of many that braved the sweltering heat - but this is Texas.
