After a tough loss in week one to a really good Celina team, the Bellville High School football team answered back with a statement win vs Stafford with a victory by a final score of 24-7. Senior Kendrick Turner rushed for two total touchdowns and 123 yards on 24 carries and junior Travis Turner added 109 yards with a touchdown on 14 carries. This is a huge win for Bellville and it’s no surprise that they are getting back on track with the kind of athletes and coaching they have with head coach Grady Rowe at the helm.
This team is known for winning and expects to win, so it’s likely they’ll be an eight-nineten win team come the end of year when the playoffs come around.
