Brazos football off to strong start

The Brazos High School football team has started fresh with a new coaching staff and it’s paid off as they’ve started the sea- son 2-0 with two big wins against Hempstead and Buna, scoring 50-plus points in each of the games under new head coach Patrick Oliver.

Oliver is a Brazos alum and also played football at the collegiate level, so he obviously knows what he’s doing when it comes to football and seems to have this team in great shape. Brazos is known for being a winning team and making playoff runs and this seems like a team that can get back in postseason fashion with the way they’ve been playing in just the first couple games of the season.
