LA GRANGE - A fundraiser will take place on Saturday, Sept. 20, at Popz Star Bar in La Grange. Susan Williams was accidentally injured at the bar on July 28 due to an accidental discharge from a firearm carried by Craig Moreau, of Round Top.
The fundraiser dinner, from 4 to 6 p.m., will feature barbecue and sides for $20 per plate. Tickets can be purchased by calling or texting Debbie at 737-6779213 or Hanna at 979-9668582. Plates will also be available for purchase on the day of the event. There will be a silent auction from 3 to 6 p.m.
A benefit account has been established at Fayette Savings Bank for Williams.
Williams has been unable to work since the incident.
All proceeds will go toward her medical and living expenses.
