The Colorado County Commissioner’s Court issued a proclamation stating September 2025 as National Emergency Preparedness Month on Sept. 22 at the regular session of commissioners court. Coounty Judge Ty Prause, seated, made a special announcement by recognizing Charles “Chuck” Rogers, emergency management coordinator for Colorado County, for all he has done for the county in helping it prepare for emergencies since he began his position.
