The La Grange High School football team is off to a solid start midway through the season with a record of 3-2 and those three wins coming in blowout fashion.
La Grange has always had a strong offense ever since head coach Kyle Cooper took over the helm a few years ago.
This team is known for scoring a lot of points and they’ve scored 40-plus points in each of their three wins.
They’ve tested the waters at quarterback with Eli Gillum and Quade Brothers, where Gillum has produced in the air and on the ground as he’s been able to find the end zone with the rushing attack in recent games.
They also have an adequate running back core with many options to go to for moving the ball up field and scoring.
The Leopards continue to improve under Cooper and even after a loss at Navasota last week, the results are showing that they’re continuing to trend upward.
