Task force takes down fugitive

WALLER — Members of the Austin County Regional Special Response Team conducted an operation on Sept. 23 in Waller that concluded with the arrest of fugitive John Henry Kennedy Jr., 39.

The operation is the result of an investigation led by the Westside Narcotics Task Force (HIDTA).

Kennedy was located at a residence in Pattison and was arrested on three active felony warrants for manufacture/delivery of a controlled substance PG1.

Kennedy was additionally charged with felon in posses- sion of a firearm and parole violation. A secondary subject iden- tified as Sherlynn Perrow, 65, was arrested at the scene for interfering with public duties.

Both defendants were transported and booked into the Waller County Jail in Hempstead without incident.

The Waller County Sher- iff's Office and Austin Coun ty Special Investigations Unit participated in the operation.
