SEALY — The results of the Austin County Job Fair and Career Expo are in, and the numbers look like a bull stock market. There were 42 employers and commu nity partners who attended the recent event.
Over 50 percent, or 26 candidates, were hired on the spot. One hundred fifty-six interviews were scheduled or conducted at the job fair, with 124 candi dates attending.
These numbers speak for themselves - a job fair makes cents.
