The Bellville High School football team grabbed a huge statement win Oct. 10 vs area opponent Sealy High School, handing them their first loss of the season. Bellville did what they do best, which is keep the ball on the ground and run the ball efficiently as they had two running backs each score two touchdowns in Kendrick Turner and Travis Turner.
Sealy had a good mix of running and passing, but it wasn’t enough to sustain the heavy run game of the Brahmas. Both teams are still in great shape as Bellville sits at 4-2 and Sealy at 5-1. This could even be a matchup we see in the playoffs down the road with both teams playing great football at the right time.
