Seniors Together fundraiser a roaring success

The Seniors Together group and the Columbus Lions Club teamed up for the Seniors To- gether's first major fundraiser on Oct. 6 in Columbus. It was a roaring success thanks to the Lions Club's famous Lion Burgers and the ever-present volunteers of Seniors Together. The fundraiser met and exceeded its goal and noted that it is because of the community support that helps the program keep Seniors Together free to all seniors, 55 years of age and older. Vol - unteers of Seniors Together, top left, pitch in and do what they do best, as they put the burgers together for the hungry drive-thrus. The Columbus Lions Burger trailer, top right, has its own set of dedicated volunteers that flip its famous burgers. The Lions Club helps in fundraising activities for non-profits.
