Columbus Education Foundation launches

scholarship campaign

“Pathway to Possibilities” campaign will support scholarships awarded to graduates pursuing degrees in healthcare, mental health, and skilled trades

COLUMBUS - The Co -

lumbus Education Foundation (CEF) is inviting the commu - nity to change lives for the better through its Pathway to Possibilities matching gift campaign. Beginning in Oc - tober, all donations made to CEF through Dec. 31, up to $50,000, will be matched by a generous donor, doubling the impact and opening doors for Columbus Independent School District seniors pursuing ca - reers in healthcare, mental health, and skilled trades.

The Pathway to Possi - bilities campaign aims to re - move financial barriers for hardworking seniors, enabling them to continue their educa -

tion and enter critical fields that strengthen the communi - ty. Scholarships will support students pursuing degrees in healthcare and mental health, as well as those enrolling in trade school. "These scholarships are an investment in the future of Columbus," said Phillip Gar - cia, CEF president. "They en - sure more students can pursue careers in healthcare, mental health, and skilled trades with - out the weight of tuition costs holding them back." CEF has an impressive track record of supporting stu - dent success through scholar -

ships and teacher grants. The Pathway to Possibilities cam - paign builds on that momen -

tum by doubling individual gifts to create more scholar - ships for the Class of 2026.

"We are truly grateful for the generosity of the donor who stepped up to match the funds raised through this im -

portant campaign," said CEF board member Heather Thom - as. "The impact this will have

on the number of scholarships we award to deserving students is incredible. We are excited for the potential this will bring to students pursuing degrees and certifications that will ul - timately better their commu -

nity." Community members are encouraged to donate at www. columbuseducationfounda - tion.org. Every gift made by Dec. 31 will be matched dollar for dollar, up to $50,000
