The Schulenburg High School vol - leyball team has competed for state championships in each of the past few years and they are looking like that same kind of team in 2025.
Schulenburg is very well coached by head coach Donald Zapalac and his daughter, Landry Zapalac, has been a setter on varsity ever since her fresh - man year and has put up stellar num - bers, even reaching 50 plus assists in some of the games.
This team has great chemistry and also has a lot of athleticism with great hitters and defenders. Their offense is very fluent and they don't make many mistakes.
Schulenburg is a heavy favorite to make another deep run in the playoffs.
