COLUMBUS — CarFit is a fun, free seminar and checkpoint designed to help those 55 and older drivers improve their driver safety and ensure their car best fits them daily The event, held on Monday, Nov. 10, from 9:30 to 11 a.m., is a free learning opportunity and workshop afterward. At the end of the day, your vehicle will be a better fit for you with the goal of increased safety and mobility when you drive on the roadways.
A trained technician reviews with you 12 key areas, such as steering wheel tilt, air bag info, safe mirror positions, properly adjusted head restraints and line of sight. Just making a few adjustments can make a difference in comfort and safety.
CarFit is limited to 20 slots. It will be held at The Lighthouse at St. Paul Lutheran Church at 201 Veterans Dr. in Columbus. Contact Tammy Schrader by text or call to RSVP: 979274-9661.
