Heritage Fest and Muziky hold annual gathering

LA GRANGE— The annual Heritage Fest and Muziky was held at the Fayette County Fairgrounds in La Grange on Oct. 17-18. Between the Antique tractor and car show, wagon rides, village tours and great food, there was a Hospoda Beer Garden and lively music by the Red Ravens, the Dujka Brothers and the Lavaca County Line.

Hosted by the Texas Czech Heritage and Cultural Center, the twoday event brought a steady stream of Czech-blooded citizens and those wanting to know about the culture and how life was “back in the day.”
