LA GRANGE — The topic for November’s “Resources for Successful Living Lunch and Learn” series will be “Picking a Pet for Your Family.” This monthly event will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 18, from 12:05 to 12:50 p.m. at the Fayette County Agricultural Building, 255 Svoboda Ln., Room 104 in La Grange.
“Picking a Pet for your Family” by Teresa Brown with the Gardenia Janssen Animal Shelter will give helpful information before surprising the family with a new pet for the holidays (or anytime). Learn how to pick the perfect pet for your lifestyle. Different pets have different needs for care and feeding, and a pet’s temperament should match your family’s expectations and abilities to provide the best fit for everyone.
This free event is open to the public. Registration will begin at 11:50 a.m. Bring your lunch; drinks will be provided. For information, contact the Fayette County Extension Office at 979- 968-5831.
