CVQG busy getting quilts ready for Best Little Quilt Show

LA GRANGE — Colorado Valley Quilt Guild (CVQG) was busy learning the correct way to get their quilts 'Show Ready' for our upcoming 2026 Best Little Quilt Show.

Anita Todd, BLQS Show Chair for 2026, demonstrated to the group how to properly attach the sleeves, which will serve as a way to showcase each quilt when hung. Todd also demonstrated how to attach the quilt binding.

Past President Pat Scherer explained the importance of labeling each quilt when completed and how all quilts should be labeled even when not going into a show. Scherer also demonstrated the correct way to label all your items for the Show.

CVQG's The Best Little Quilt Show will be graced with all 'Show Ready' Quilts.

The Colorado Valley Quilt Guild meets on the fourth Tuesday of each month at the Randolph Recreation Center at 653 East Pearl St., Room A East, La-Grange, TX 78945. Guild meetings begin at 6 p.m. in even months and 10 a.m. in odd months.

Meetings are always open to the public, so grab a friend and come learn more about this wonderful service organization right here in LaGrange.
