S CH U L E N BU RG — Turtle Wing, a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, con tinues to serve hundreds of families who have children with learning challenges, connecting them with the needed services to be successful, helping them afford those services, and creating new opportunities.
Last year, over 320 individuals and their families received services funded by Turtle Wing, ranging from speech therapy to afterschool art class.
In just the last five years, Turtle Wing Foundation has invested more than $1,000,000 in direct services, providing over 25,000 sessions of life-changing support to children and individuals with learning challenges.
The end of the year is just as important for Tur tle Wing as it is for all of the other amazing nonprofits in the area.
This year, from Nov. 1 until Dec. 31, all donations to Turtle Wing Foundation will be matched dollar for dollar up to $10,000 with $5,000 each generously donated from J Bar B Foods and Freyburg Hall. These matches allow you to maximize your giving. Donations can be made online at www.turtlewingfoundation. org, by mail, P.O. Box 631, Schulenburg, TX 78956 or by dropping by the office.
It is due to the continued generosity and support of local individuals and businesses like J Bar B Foods and Freyburg Hall that Turtle Wing can continue helping individuals with learning challenges 'FLY' in the rural area.
Spreading the mission of the foundation, connecting us with families who may benefit from our services, sharing our social media posts, and your continued prayers are oth- er (and just as important) ways you can support Turtle Wing Foundation.
