SCHULENBURG - Fayette County Sheriff Keith Korenek re - ported that on Nov. 5, at approxi - mately 3:16 a.m., Fayette County Sheriff's Deputy Jose Mosqueda was dispatched to 1513 U.S. Highway 77 North in Schulenburg in reference to a reported theft in progress. Schulenburg Police Department was the first to arrive on scene and Mosqueda arrived on scene. Officers located a suspect walking around the property and detained him without incident. The subject was identified as 21-year-old Jovany Mendez-Salazr of Austin.
