COLUMBUS - The Colum - bus Ministerial Alliance gath - ered recently to finalize prepara - tions for the Annual Community Thanksgiving Service that will be held on Sunday, Nov. 23, at 6 p.m., at the Columbus Community Church (CCC) at 1503 Bowie St. in Columbus. This service is an opportunity for the community to come togeth - er and worship in an ecumenical
spirit, giving thanks for all the blessings of our lives and our com - munity. There will be 10 pastors from various churches in the area par - ticipating in the service, with Se - nior Pastor Jason Brown of CCC as the hosting pastor welcoming everyone to the service, and Pastor John Jones of Three Cross Minis -
tries delivering the message. The Columbus Communi - ty Church Worship Band will be providing music throughout the service for congregational singing and special music as well. All Men Singers are invited to join in singing the well-known Thanksgiving Hymn, 'We Gather Together' as the prelude to open -
ing the service. Men should meet at 5 p.m. at the Columbus Com -
munity Church before the service at 6 p.m. to rehearse the song.
