As the community started to come together for the annual Eagle Lake State of the City, given by Mayor Tim Kelley, it was a chance to catch up with people and see old friends.
People showed up to socialize before getting down to city business during the Eagle Lake State of the City address on Nov. 6 at the Eagle Lake Civic Center. Following a steak dinner catered by Austin’s Bargecue, attendees heard a very positive address given by Mayor Tim Kelley. A detailed article of the state of the city appeared in the Banner Press on Nov. 13.
