CHOIR PRESENTS BALLAD OF BETHLEHEM
COLUMBUS — The Columbus Community Choir will present The Ballad of Bethlehem, A Timeless Story of God’s Love, Sunday, Dec. 14 at 4 p.m. at the Columbus High School Auditorium. The Columbus Choir is a ministry of the First United Methodist Church in Columbus.
CHRISTMAS CANDY/BAKE SALE
ELLINGER — St. Mary’s Altar Society will hold a Christmas Candy and Bake Sale Saturday, Dec. 20 from 8 to 11:30 a.m. at St. Mary’s Parish Hall next to St. Mary’s Catholic Church at Hostyn near Ellinger. The event will include kolaches, cakes, homemade candy, cookies, pies, Christmas items and more. Hot dogs, chili dogs and sandwiches will be available at 9 a.m. Raffle tickets will be sold and prizes awarded at 11:30 a.m.
