CUERO — Numerous Fayette County 4-Hers competed in the 2025 District 11 4-H Food Show and Food Challenge Contest on Dec. 8, and Dec. 9, in Cuero.
In the Food Challenge Contest, six Fayette County teams qualified.
In the Senior Division, Shaker Bakers placed first in the Senior Main Dish Category. Team members consisted of Scotti Beseda, MacKay- la Griffin, Hailey Janish and Kandon Kaspar. They will advance to the Texas 4-H Round- up (State) in June 2026.
In the Senior Division, Classy Cooks placed third in the Senior Healthy Dessert Category. Team members consisted of Peter Kieke, Caden Tovey and Reagan Williams.
In the Intermediate Divi- sion, Beef Masters placed first in the Intermediate Appetizer Category. Team members consisted of Kaylyn Beseda, Emory Malota and Kloey Noska.
In the Intermediate Division, Country Cooks competed in the Intermediate Healthy Dessert Category. Team members consisted of Summer Dooley, Lylah Robertson and Mogan Williams.
In the Junior Division, Turn up the Beet competed in the Junior Side Dish Catego ry. Team members consisted of Canaan Beseda, Haddie Krebs, Harper Malota and Brady Noska.
In the Junior Division, Cooking Crayons competed in the Junior Appetizer Catego ry. Team members consisted of Kennedy Kaspar, Carolina Krebs, Creed Kulhanek and Addie Murphy In the Food Show, Tori Newton placed first in the Se nior Main Dish Category. She will advance to the Texas 4-H Round (State) in June 2026.
Competing in the Intermediate Main Dish Category was Taylyn Newton and competing in the Intermediate Healthy Dessert Category was Chloe Oliva.
