FAYETTEVILLE — In the little town of Fayetteville, you would think you would know where everything is and the highlights to see and do. Tucked away on the back side of the town square sits a small hall that is mostly used to cook in and hold little auctions come festival time.

However, as the Christmas season kicks into full gear, this small hall is transformed into a beautiful Christmas tree paradise.

Founder Janice Wasut, of Fayetteville, watched a Christmas movie several years ago that inspired her with this vision, and what started with just a few Christmas trees competing for best tree, has grown into a delightful Christmas experience with 39 trees tucked into the small building behind the town hall. Co-founder Debra Glaze, of Fayetteville, shares in that vision.

If you weren’t from Fayetteville, you may not know this is a fantastic Christmas experience for adults as well as the children. The “take your breath away” scenery showcases Christmas trees at their finest, while at the end of the tour, Mr and Mrs. Clause await the kids to sit and chat awhile.

All this is donation-driven and a must-see for years to come.

Proceeds go to hall maintenance and scholarships.

Thirty nine decorated Christmas trees light up the small hall but it has a big impact.
Nestled among the beautifully decorated Christmas trees at the old small hall behind the town hall on the Fayetteville Town Square, are rows and tables of Christmas villages. The Christmas theme is over nine years in the making and grows each year. It is a must see for the whole family during the Christmas season.
