The Fayetteville High School boy’s basketball team isn’t just one of the best teams in the area. They’ve made a name for themselves as one of the best teams in the state with a state tournament appearance a couple years ago and the continuation of playing state tournament caliber basketball since their latest appearance.
Head coach Jake Diggs holds this team accountable and has established a superb culture since he’s been at the helm for the Lions.
Fayetteville is also a school that produces great athletes, but the coaching job of Diggs needs to be recognized as he’s had this team playing elite basketball essentially ever since he’s stepped foot on Fayetteville’s campus.
