The Columbus High School basketball team has an outstanding record overall and in district play and they’ve also won their last six games in a row. All of those wins came by a double digit margin except for one game against Edna.
This team has superior athletes and superior coaching, which has been the case for a long time now.
Head coach Mike Albers puts his system in play and his athletes emulate it to near perfection almost every time they step out on the court.
The Lady Cardinals rarely make mistakes or turn the ball over and they have all the attributes in what it takes to be an elite basketball team.
As they’ve been to state in recent years, it’s surely looking like they can head back there again this year.
