A few swimmers from the tri-county area have qualified for UIL State swim meet, which will be held Thursday, Feb. 12 and Friday, Feb. 13 for classes 4A and below at Josh Davis Natatorium in San Antonio.
The individual swimmer that qualified is Lizzie Wil son of Brazos High School, who is a girls 500 yard free- style automatic qualifier as well as a girls 100 yardbackstroke call up.
La Grange swimmers who qualified as a team for the girls 200 yard medley relay include Eleanor Carey, Elana Supak, Adysen Janacek and Lyria Hartley. The prelims for these events take place Feb. 12 at 10 a.m. and the finals take place Feb. 13 at 11 a.m.
