Second Chance Emporium donates to Fayette County VFDs

Second Chance Emporium (SCE) recently donated a total of $50,000 to the 10 volunteer fire departments of Fayette County (La Grange, Schulenburg, Fayetteville, Flatonia, Round Top/ Warrenton, Ellinger, Muldoon, Ledbetter, Winchester and Carmine each received $5,000) in appreciation of their service to the Fayette County. On hand for the presentation were, front row, from left, SCE Assistant Store Director Darlene Strahan, SCE Assistant Store Director Marlene Schnell, and, SCE Store Director Gayle Schielack; and, back row, Daryl Ray, Car - mine VFD; Greg Hunger, Ellinger VFD; Randy Noviskie, Fayetteville VFD; Chris Swenning, Flatonia Fire and Rescue; Frank Menefee, La Grange VFD; Rodney Read, Ledbetter VFD; Calvin Krause, Round Top/Warrenton VFD and Darren Guentert, Schulenburg VFD. Not pictured were representatives of Muldoon VFD and Winchester Area VFD.
