Weimar girl’s basketball heads into playoffs on positive note

The Weimar High School girl’s basketball team had another stellar regular season in ’25-’26 as they went 24-9 overall and 9-3 in district play.

They had a stretch of games about midway through the season where they won 15 out of 18 games during the stretch. They also are heading into the playoffs with momentum as they just recently beat Louise High School by a final score of 75-17.

Head Coach Jenny Fricke is becoming a legend at Weimar if she hasn’t already with the consistent winning seasons she’s had at the helm.

Weimar also has great shooting, understands the game, and soaks in the smarts from Fricke during practice and especially during games.
