LA GRANGE - A cancer benefit and auction benefiting Dusty Veitch will be held on Saturday, March 28, at the Plum Church Dining Hall, 126 Plum Church Rd. in La Grange. Veitch is a husband of 22 years and has three children. He was diagnosed with Stage 3 Colon cancer on Jan. 9. He will start chemotherapy at the end of February.
A dine-in or carry-out plate for $15 will start at 11 a.m. and will be fried chicken, sausage, potatoes, green beans, corn and bread.
