The John Everett Chapter of the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution honored four high school students with the Good Citizens Award at its Feb. 9 meeting. Good Citizens Commit - tee Chair Jana Semler of Schulen - burg, had the winners introduce themselves and their guests. Semler explained, "The DAR Good Citizens program recog - nizes high school seniors who display outstanding qualities of dependability, service, leadership and patriotism in their homes, schools and communities." Each school's DAR Good Cit - izen received a DAR Good Citi - zens lapel pin, certificate, grad -
uation cord, and $50 from the Chapter. Each of these bright, ac - complished and very busy young people spoke to the Chapter about their activities and aspirations, highlighting their personal qual - ities of dependability, service, leadership, and patriotism.
