The Flatonia High School girl’s basketball season has come to an end after a 42-29 loss to Mason High School Feb. 26. It was a superb season for the Lady Bulldogs as they went 35-4 overall and perfect 12-0 record in district play.
Led by head coach Bethany McLeod, Flatonia had a bunch of players that could score for the ’25-’26 season and it helps when you have a scorer like Summer Sodek, who was in the 20 to 30 point range on a regular basis throughout the season.
The Lady Bulldogs are well coached and have good athletes, so this team should continue to be one of the better teams in the area for the foreseeable future.
