COLUMBUS — The Columbus Education Foundation (CEF) has launched its 2026 scholarship season, putting over $150,000 in scholarships for Columbus High School seniors. Over 40 scholarships are available to support students entering trade programs, technical schools, community colleges, or universities.

Applying is easier than ever – trade scholarship forms are just one page, and the remaining scholarship applications are no more than two pages long, making it simple for students to apply for multiple awards.

Applications are available online through the Columbus High School website at chs.columbusisd. org under “Student Resources” and “Scholarship Info,” as well as on the Columbus Education Foundation website, columbuseducationfoundation. org.

All applications must be turned in to the CHS Counseling Center by April 1. Students and families are encouraged to start early, review requirements carefully, and take advantage of this incredible opportunity.

Last year, CEF awarded $107,050 in scholarships to CHS students, with more than half going to future healthcare professionals and a significant portion to students entering

trade programs.

“These scholarships are made possible because of generous donors who believe in investing in our students and our community,” shared Heather Thomas, CEF scholarship chairman. “We encourage every senior planning to continue their education to apply.”

The Columbus community is proud to support its students — and excited to see where the Class of 2026 is headed next!
