Wellness for Road and Bridge employees

AUSTIN COUNTY — Blueprints for Better Health: A Road and Bridge Wellness Series is an educational program designed to support the health and well-being of local Road and Bridge employees. The series focuses on practical, easyto- apply strategies that promote healthier lifestyles while recognizing the physical demands and daily challenges faced by this workforce.

Educational sessions cover preventive health care, nutrition, physical activity, and work–life balance, presented in a relatable, engaging, and relevant way for participants' everyday routines.

The series emphasizes small, realistic changes that can lead to long-term improvements in overall health and job performance. Through interactive discussions and hands-on learning opportunities, participants gain tools to better manage their health, increase energy, and reduce the risk of chronic disease.

This wellness series reflects Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service's continued commit ment to partnering with county departments to provide education that strengthens individuals, families, and communities while supporting a healthier, more productive workforce.
