Stanzel Family Foundation $15k Scholarship offered to area high school seniors

SCHULENBURG - The Stanzel Family Foundation is now accepting scholarship applications for high school seniors graduating in 2026.

The Joseph & Victor Stanzel Memorial Schol- arship offers up to $15,000 to eligible students residing within the Schulenburg or Weimar school districts.

All graduating seniors from area public and private schools and homeschool settings are encouraged to apply. Selected scholars re- ceive $1,500 per semester, re newable based on continued eligibility, to support study toward a technical or voca- tional certification, associate degree, or bachelor’s degree at an accredited university, community college, or trade school.

Eligible students can apply directly on the Stanzel Family Foundation website. Simply go to the Scholarships page and click “Apply Today” to get started.

Public and private school students with questions should contact their school counselor, while homeschooled students can contact Melanie Ramirez, Program Director, directly at melanie@ stanzelmuseum.org.

Applications must be submitted by 11:59 p.m. on Friday, March 27. Since 1991, the Stanzel Family Foundation has awarded more than 582 scholarships to local high school and professional students, supporting continued education and workforce development in the community.
