PAMELA NOELL

LA GRANGE— A story The Fayette County Record broke last year about sexual abuse that occurred in 2025 at Paradigm at the Oaks Nursing Center in Schulenburg has led to Pamela Kay Noell, 62, of Smithville, pleading guilty to three felonies in a cover-up scheme involving an elderly disabled female resident of Paradigm and another male resident.

Noell conspired to cover up the assault through witness tampering, tampering with physical evidence and obstruction or retaliation.

On Feb. 18, District Judge Jeff Steinhauser accepted the guilty plea to all three felony charges handed down by a Fayette County Grand Jury over a year ago in an indictment.

Noell was placed on four years probation, in lieu of a 10-year prison sentence, with the stipulation that she not manage, operate, own, or volunteer in any capacity at any healthcare facility nor as a private caretaker.
